70s Made-for-TV

just caught the Norliss Tapes (a made for TV movie from the 70s). fairly good though dated (from the guy who wrote DARK SHADOWS). made me think of other great made-for-tv horror flicks, such as ...

Trilogy Of Terror and Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark both come to mind. Both were made for TV movies in the 70's and both were great.

I'll think of more to add.

I guess this wouldn't really be a horror movie but I totally dug it, 1976 HELTER SKELTER. Bought it a few years back on DVD and it still is as good as it was back then!

i can't think of as many from the 80s or 90s - I suppose VCRs killed them off.

anyone remember Gargoyles? i recall it as very cool

I remember Gargoyles. Loved it as a kid watching it. I saw it later when I was older and it was just OK, to me.
Still a good watch, but the shine had definitely worn off.
