Just misses one important factor. Mike Slamer, the metal guitarist in City Boy. The guy who made this a special 70s pop/rock band. Well, that and that they had no less than 3 lead singers.

i always thought that "anaal" supposed to mean "anal", just spelled weird. but then i read this:
The name comes from Merlin's Charm of Making in John Boorman's 1981 film Excalibur (some dark fantasy shit). According to Michael Everson's transcription, Anaal Nathrakh means "serpent's breath".
