Wish me luck!
Today is day 1 of no cigarettes. I'm using the patch to help me through it. This is about my millionth time trying to quit, but I think I'll be successful this time because EVERYONE in my house is also quitting. My nephew is using the patch and my sister is going cold turkey (she has high blood pressure and is afraid to use any supplements).
Sis and I are going to Flavor Fest on the grounds of the PA renaissance faire, so today should be pretty easy. Wish us luck! Last edited by hammerfan; 05-24-2008 at 02:58 AM. Reason: forgot something

half of my lineage is irish, the other is german. i know how trying those 5 hours can be
 hammer, i quit cold turkey almost 6 years ago. life is a lot more comfortable once you get over the urge. good luck
