Savage Streets

One of the best revenge flicks ever! Starring Linda Blair and Linnea Quigley this is one of my favorite 80s trashfests. If you dug Class Of 1984 you've gotta see this one. I can't wait to get my hands on the 2 Disc edition that was released by Navarre a couple of days ago. This shit's classic and I'm glad finally got a decent looking release.

I know people are probably getting tired of me waving its banner, but please...

PLEASE PLEASE

watch Exorcist III if you've never seen it. It's my personal favorite movie of all time and has some of the creepiest moments I've ever seen in a movie. You can usually find it in a bargain bin for about $5, which is cheaper than you can rent it a lot of places. Give it a go. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I second The Inglorious Bastards, Savage Streets and The Exorcist III recommendations.

All 3 are must-watches, IMO. Give those 3 a spin already, people.

Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers. Funny, essential grindhouse in the same vein as the Gore Gore Girls.

i highly, highly recommend (and i'm pretty sure elvis will second me here):

santa sangre (1989)

it can be kind of hard to find, especially in the states, but it's worth the search.

such a maddening, whimsical, gorgeous mess.

Hopefully it's a decent transfer this time. I've got a copy of the uncut Dutch VHS that's pretty shoddy quality (I think the last release of it was taken from it). The CBS/Fox tape from over here is a lot crisper quality but is cut to fuck.

For sure dude. Amazing stuff! It turned me onto Alejandro Jodorowsky's work.

... and yeh The Exorcist III is essential viewing too I dig it a lot.

I've been wanting to check out Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers for awhile now. I'll grab a copy as soon as I come across one. Fred Olen Ray is one prolific motherfucker!
