If he's unavailable (your sheer bad luck), then you might ask either Psycom5K or Posher778...both pretty good at this stuff.

And Johnny Longshlong could help straighten out a few issues for you as well, although he is a bit hard to get hold of a lot of the time. But he does have a firm grasp of the genre, and likes to talk about horror over a few stiff drinks.
