I don't welcome any spirits, but I think I'd be so excited to see some 'moving parts' in a house I was looking at. I think i would have flipped that moving box looking for wheels as soon as it stopped.

A Real Experience!
Hi Sculpt,
Would you or anyone else want to hear about a real experience i had? When i was 20 i joined the Ghost Club and trained to be a paranormal investigator which was 46 years ago, i joined on 25th April 1977, and took my training seriously which was to look for all other reasons for paranormal activity before reasoning that it couldn't be explained. but as my memory goes back to 1977, i had no idea what was going to follow in a few months in the Autumn of that year, i still can't explain it. The Ghost Club says it is the oldest paranormal club in the world, perhaps it is, as Peter Cushing, Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had been members. Link below:- https://www.ghostclub.org.uk/ My membership is below:- https://files.abovetopsecret.com/fil...vt5bb659d0.png Now you see where i lived on this very old passport below, if you know your horror films, you will be able to guess what my first investigation was, being a junior investigator. https://files.abovetopsecret.com/fil...pw5bb65a13.png So you have a puzzle, tell me what i was investigating in 1977, and i will tell you my personal memory of events! It does seem you could not find what i was investigating in 1977:-
The Voice below comes from an 11 year old girl, i can verify because i was there. It is disturbing, and involves the Enfield Poltergeist:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17Xhed0jP50 The Conjuring 2 movie was inaccurate in a lot of things. Without the Hollywood fireworks, but a more true drama would be the Enfield Haunting.

As an Investigator i was always looking for fraud or trickery, it wasn't easy joining the Ghost Club in 1977, in fact new members were by invitation and scrutinized by senior members, it was easy to get "black balled".
It must of been reading about a friend's obituary, a few years back that focused my mind on events that happened over 45 years ago, and nearly dying with a broken spine, which tends to make you write about your life, for many years it wasn't something i wanted to remember, it still gives me the chills! It was some time ago that i noticed that Guy Lyon Playfair had died, i hadn't contacted him in years, but i was involved with him all those years ago. Although i was only a junior paranormal investigator, i was more attached to Maurice Grosse as we both lived in Enfield, he died in 2006, so it seems i'm the investigator left, being an eye witness to strange events that started in autumn 1977 in a council house , being 284 Green Street, Enfield, Middlesex, a suburb of London Both Maurice Grosse and Guy Lyon Playfair were members of the Ghost Club and the Society of Pychical Research (SPR), i was only a member of the Ghost Club in 1977, the obituary is on link below:- https://www.spr.ac.uk/news/guy-lyon-playfair-1935-2018 The Enfield Poltergeist is the most documented case of paranormal activity in the world, even a woman police officer Carolyn Heeps signed an affidavit explaining that she saw a chair move across the room, which she checked for wires and fraud, but she couldn't explain it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwYcRv4WbcQ It wasn't long before the media were camped outside the house, please read link below, i will write about my memories tomorrow:- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tated-bed.html |

I have to be careful regarding my observations with Janet aged 11, who spoke in a gruff male bassy voice. Could it have been a hoax? When adult women are trained for a deep singing voice, it is possible, please listen to female Mongolian throat singers on link below.
However i did learn as much as i could from Janet, there wasn't any singing training, my thoughts were for a child to shout and swear in a deep male voice, which she did for long periods of time, would have damaged a young girls throat, which surprisingly did not happen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNFSB4PnVPI Above link is the female Mongolian throat singer. Below again is how Janet aged 11 talked, you will have to make your own mind up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17Xhed0jP50 |
