Any Mexican Horror Lovers?
Still looking for any good reccomendations for Classic Mexican Horror. I recently saw *Misterios Del Ultratumba* from 1959 and loved it. Brainiac is just wild but the copy I have is horrible.
Some guys reccomended the Coffin Joe films, thanks! but those films are not Mexican they are Brazilian/Portuguese. Thanks again for any suggestions. Orson |

Santa Sangre. It's not old or classic Mexican Horror, but it's visceral, well concieved and chilling. Don't believe anybody who tells you Kronos. That one's a waste of time and money. Also, for a really good laugh, the Santo movies. They star Mexico's most famous wrestler as he battles Dracula, mummies and such other monsters. Funny shit.

If you guys are interested. You might want to checkout some of the late 50s , early 60s Mexican classics by Chano Urueta, Rafael Baledón and Fernando Mendez. They made some really cool, gothic flicks in the vain of Mario Bava, etc. Dripping with atmosphere. Most of them take place in old Haciendas and what not. I think they are very underappreciated.
Trouble is, they are kinda hard to find, unfortunately. Thanks for the recs. orson |

El Topo, which I just recently heard of, is #1 on my must see list.
Has anyone else seen this?
