I love this movie. Hands-down my favorite werewolf movie.
Yah. Its very very good. I haven't seen Silver Bullet in ages, but I remember loving it as a kid. Might be a favorite too. I haven't seen A Werewolf in London yet though.

Trailer made it look very good. Not predictable.

When her little brother, Martin, experiences the same events that once tested her sanity, Rebecca works to unlock the truth behind the terror, which brings her face to face with an entity that has an attachment to their mother, Sophie.

There are a few scary moments, but this won't be giving me a fear of the dark any time soon. The tension is not amped up enough, the buildup is too sparse, and the jump scares are too obvious. It quickly turned into more of a monster movie than a scary movie. Where's Vin Diesel when you need him?

FEATURING HORROR HOTTIE
Teresa Palmer

The fact that you think Vin Diesel wouldve made me this makes me seriously question your taste in movies

Dude, it was a joke - because he played Riddick and can see in the dark. He would have fucked that ghost up.

Although had I been serious, I like to think that my taste in movies would more be established by my near daily posts in this thread rather than a throwaway comment on one of them.

Villain: I own the DVD. I happened upon it at an FYE (yes, we still have some of those around here). Couldn't believe my luck when I saw it!

!!!HALLOWEEN HORROR MONTH!!!

Over Your Dead Body (2014)
I.M.D.B.
A star, Miyuki Goto (Ko Shibasaki) plays Oiwa, the protagonist in a new play based on the ghost story Yotsuya Kaidan. She pulls some strings to get her lover, Kosuke Hasegawa (Ebizo Ichikawa) cast in the play, even though he's a relatively unknown actor. Other performers Rio Asahina (Miho Nakanishi) and Jun Suzuki (Hideaki Ito) lust after Miyuki. Off stage the cast's possessive love and obsessions exist as reality. Trapped between the play and reality, the cast's feelings for each other are amplified. When it becomes clear that love is not meant to be both on and off stage, love turns into a grudge and crosses the blurred line between reality and fantasy.

Takeshi Miike has made a lot of movies, some good, some bad, some great, and a whole lot of bizarre. This movies blurs the line between theater and film, giving a slow paced but interesting first half, before delving into more Miike-like madness and gore in the second half. It's all very interesting and somewhat hypnotic to watch, while you wonder just what on earth is going on, but it all comes together and makes (a semblance) of sense. This is a movie that deserves a deeper, more studious review, but overall it was an interesting and enjoyable film, and very well made.
