Added a new smiley set instead of the ancient stone-age set which we had. Best of all, it's animated!

These are *great* changes, V. Very thoughtful fine-tuning of the forum -- clearly the work of a veteran. I'm especially excited to use the multi-quote feature. This will make some of those posts so much easier to write.
I'm also honored to be made a contributor! I'll do my best -- but first, I must ask, what does that mean? :)

Great job and some very useful changes : ) Took me about a week here before I realised that my searches were only showing recent threads by default instead of all of them so that's a good one!
I've tried a bit of forum coding myself recently and floundered totally so I can appreciate the work you must have put it into it.

There was some problem in posting in the threads in the "Compilations and Pastimes" sub-forum, as reported by hammerfan. New posts were asking for approval by a moderator. That issue has been set right and it should be solved now.
