Dustin LaValley - Fringe Horror Author

With the debut collection, Lowlife Underdogs, Dustin LaValley has made a name for himself as a writer with a fresh take on horror fiction. In only a few years he's gained attention from names such as Jack Ketchum and Edward Lee, film studios and comic book companies. With the collaboration collection, Lawson Vs LaValley released early this year, this "under the radar" release from Raw Dog Screaming Press has made a fine mark on readers and reviewers. If you're a reader of dark fiction, Dustin LaValley should be on your list. Take a read of the reviews and blurbs provided below and via the links to the publisher's page and, keep and eye out for Spinner. An extreme crime novel with supernatural hues coming fall of 2012 from Black Bed Sheet Books.

Lawson Vs LaValley

"There are punch-to-the-gut gems in LOWLIFE UNDERDOGS that rival anything in Richard Christian Matheson's SCARS. LaValley is just getting started and he's one to watch."-- JACK KETCHUM, author of The Lost, Red, The Woman

"A very cool range of creative vision and quite a mastery of the stream-on-consciousness style that's engaging, grim, and elucidating at the same time. In all, very powerful and unique work."--EDWARD LEE, author of City Infernal, The Black Train, Header

"This is one of those collections you need to own. The stories grow even better after the first reading, you are going to want to thumb through it again and again. I love this collection of stories by Dustin LaValley and I can't say enough good about it." --HORRORNEWS.NET (on Lowlife Underdogs)
