i liked it right off the bat ..
being a big fan of the book - i recognized why certain things had to be changed....to fit into a movie anything under 20 hours long ..

i thought the set design was fantastic and the FX were very good for the time..

I liked the job all of the actors did ,and i really liked the music..

Frank Herbert designed a world .. to the last miniscule detail with his book .. it didnt leave a lot of room for interpretation ... but still Lynch managed to sneak in elements of his personal style ..

i recently bought the extended version of the film .. something i always prayed existed .. now i just have to find the proper time to watch it..
