Make-up F/X

From the works of Rob Bottin's The Thing

To Stan Winston's nightmare creations Alien, Predator, etc.

And Tom Savini's gore tactics Maniac

Who's your favorate Make-up F/X people or teams?

Baker's work on American Werewolf astounds me every time I see it. He did Wolf too, and I love that they went old-school with it.

the dons of FX.
baker- American Werewolf- in London STILL sets the standard. Plain and simple the man is a god.
KGB- i love these guys b/c they take small jobs. they have a conviction for fx. sometimes they only do one or two effects in a film where they arent the only shop on set. They pick the films they pick the effects. They are the total shit. In my opinion this approach to Fx lends a lot to lower budget projects and helps the horror genre.
Stan Winston- I dont know how much respect I have for him personally (long story) but his team is fucking insane. All hail Predator.

TOM MOTHERFUCKING SAVINI- This guy is fucking OG. This man is the Mcgyver of Fx. Hes oldschool. I love his motto "The more you do, the more you get to do." I look forward to attending his school.

Yeah, can't forget Dick Smith. Altered States had some fucked-up f/x.

And did you mean KNB earlier? I think you've confused them with Russian spys.:D Or am I mistaken and there really is an f/x company called KGN?
