I watched a pretty gory movie today with some rather disturbing death scenes, so it got me wondering...

My top five: Cap. Rhodes in Day of the Dead Tom Savini in Maniac The cook in The Blob (1988) The mortician in Phantasm II That dude in Scanners that got his head blown off.

Well, I watched Wrong Turn today, and two deaths really get to me.
The first one is Francine getting strangled by the barbed wire, and the wire literally rips through her jaw. The second one was Carly getting the axe from Three Finger right into her face, and you actually get to see her die. Pretty gruesome if yah ask me... Those aren't my favorite death scenes though...

Favorites would be...
Final Destination - The girl getting hit by the bus. Freddy Vs. Jason - Trey getting "folded". Friday The 13th - Marcy getting the axe in the face. Final Destination 2 - The boy getting squashed by the glass. The Omen - That guy gets decapitated by that glass. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) - Pepper's death. Wishmaster - The piano wire decap. The Funhouse - Liz gets clawed by the monster. That's just to name a few...lol.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre SPOILER!!!!!!!
The most disturbing death(torture) scene I have seen was in TCM(remake) when the guy gets his leg choped off, then he gets his finger nails ripped out when he drags the across the walls, then leatherfac takes a hand full of salt and puts it on his bloody stump, then he hangs him on a hook and he is still alive for hours.:(
