The Shawshank Redemption needs to go on my favorite movies of all time list.

Misery
The Shining (1980)
Carrie (70's)
Cujo
Secret Window

None of the movies scared me a whole lot. Certain scenes made me jump, though. I've watched Misery and The Shining a lot and I've also read the books. I think I read Carrie when I was pretty young but I'm pretty forgetful.

I watch and read Stephen King routinely.;)

Favorite is The Shining as I think this is one of the only ones that beats the story. The Mist is a close call though. Damn, that ending does it for me. One of the best endings ever put on film.

Others I liked would be:
Misery
Shawshank

Green Mile
Secret Window
The Stand
Dreamcatcher

I didnt really like It, Cujo, or Pet Semetary that much. I guess Pet Semetary is my favorite out of the bunch though.

Misery, Annie Wilkes has to be one of the most terrifying movie characters of all time. This is my favorite Stephen King movie.

Pet Semetary
Carrie
The Shinning
IT
Shawshank- Awsome!

Just to name a few, Im a long time admirer of Stephen King adaptation's. Great book's dont always make great movie's, in this case they do.
