The `swimming pool` scene from poltergeist haunted me for years =D
Besides from the ones you have mentioned, there is the human centipide and AvP2. I love the scene from let the right one in, its the best!

THE PROWLER is a great, trashy slasher flick. It is one of the most mean-spirited of the genre (which usually turns me off, but in a decade of shitty slashers, this made it stand out) and the gore is excellent.
not as good as THE BURNING, but better than most of the other non-franchise slashers
