I recently purchased a E.C. Comics comic book reprint of The Vault of Horror issue #2 from 1991 and a Weird Fantasy comic issue #1 dated year 1992. Both I have enjoyed reading. Classic vintage pre-code Horror/Science Fiction comics from the golden age before the very restrictive Comics Code Authority was put into place.

I'm reading a bunch of them now...mostly HAUNT OF FEAR, TALES FROM THE CRYPT and VAULT OF HORROR . A few clunkers, but so many of them are great! Demented, funny and just plain gruesome...but so good!

Akira - pretty fun and dark. On the 5th onimbus, like it a lot.

Outcast - Robert Kirman created this one. I'm not to big on this one. On volume 4.

Paper Girls - reading the first volume. Seems like a fun coming of age story that might get kinda dark

Ice Cream Man - horror anthology series, read the first volume. So far pretty enjoyable and the stories aren't predictable.

I was late getting this comic. The covers weren't that appealing. But it has a TV show or movie coming out and the #1 issue is now going up.

While looking on the CREEPY CLASSICS website in March, saw some issues of SHOCK CINEMA. Took a chance and ordered them, then used birthday money to order whatever back issues that were available. Absolutely essential magazine...Sense of fun, reviews of the weird movies I like and best of all, interviews with performers that I would want to know about, like Fred Williamson, Candy Clark, Jim Kelly, Sybil Danning, Francine York, Malcolm McDowell, Bill McKinney, James Remar, Nancy Allen, PJ Soles, John Schuk, Michael Moriarty, Shirley Knight, Barbara Bouchet etc. and really only scratching the surface.

Check out the website. SHOCK CINEMAMAGAZINE to give yourself a feel...
