Van Damme vs. Dolph Lundgren... again
Universal Soldier III: A New Beginning
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1288403/ So far I guess everything about this movie is still rumors. Never heard of the director or anything he's done, but i can't imagine hollywood handing him a lot of dollars for this project.

Sorry fanboys, Dolph wont be back.
Here are some latest snippets on this flick :- - - Upcoming Jean Claude Van Damme sequel "Universal Soldier : A New Beginning" has been retitled "Universal Soldier : The Next Generation". John Hyams, the son of Peter 'Time Cop' Hyams, will direct the film. The film, which will be shot in "Quarantine"-esque documentary style, sees the old Soldiers joining forces with the new UniSol models. - And what's this mean for the thought-ready-to-roll ‘'Universal Soldier 3''? Apparently the contract's have been rolled up, dipped in clag and thrown towards the office roof. "Lundgren's no longer available to be in the film, I guess", we're told. (He was in talks, but was resisting joining the production until he and Van Damme got more screen time) and though Van Damme is legally bound to the flick (he owns the production company the sequel because he dropped out of an earlier project of theirs - this'll save him from having to spend the Winter painting the producers house as compensation). "Depends on filming dates, but I wouldn't think so. - According to an interview with MTV, Jean-Claude Van Damme has said he's up for a third Universal Soldier movie. The long-rumoured re-boot is apparently now coming together, with Until Death director Simon Fellows at the helm and Timecop's Peter Hyams as DP. Van Damme said he'll only be on set for 10 days, and of Lundgren's participation, explained, "I told them, guys bring in Dolph! They said there's no more value [to cast him]. I said, 'It will have value with me!'" The "Muscles from Brussels" is unsure if the sequel will get a theatrical run or go straight to DVD, but did cryptically add that the plot "has to do with something in the past." The original 1992 Universal Soldier revolved around two dead soldiers who are turned into super soldiers by the U.S. military. A sequel, entitled Universal Soldier: The Return, followed in 1999.

You're joking right?
Dolph is a better martial artist AND holds a Ph.D... That's not to say JCVD is a bad martial artist but Dolph is better.

I thought Dolph just had a Masters in chemical engineering. Still damn impressive. I know he designed, built and maintains his own website.
Dolph is definitely a better person in general. He doesn't start fights with people in bars for no reason, and he doesn't beat his girlfriends.
