I watched Friday the 13th Part III, amazingly, for the first time. Much better than I expected, although I never knew it was directed by the same guy who did part 2.

Steve Miner also worked on the first F13 and was involved in and directed a bunch of decent horror flicks around that era (Warlock, House). Not one of the first names people think of, but he's got a really solid connection to the genre.... Oh, and he directed a bunch of episodes of The Wonder Years. Miner has had a pretty cool career.

SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE PART 2 1987

Crystal Bernard "stars" as a teenage girl re-traumatized by a killer from her past. It does indeed take place at a sleepover at a "condo" owned by a band member's father.

I'm going to have to watch SPM part 1 to see the killer's back story (if there is one...)

Nothing really great about it except that I enjoyed it.

SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 1982

Basically watched this one to try and get a back story for the sequel ^^.
Not bad but I liked the second one better.

They probably paid the actors in corndogs. I like corndogs.

THE BOOGEYMAN 1980

A young brother and sister murder their slutty mother's boyfriend after being mistreated by him.

20 years later, we find out how this has impacted their lives.

Very dull and seems to borrow a lot from other films...

Barely 2 corndogs out of 10
