Contact Microsoft. You won't need a physical receipt given that it is under 12 months old, I belive they will repair it for free.
I had a similar problem, called the X-Box support people they gave me a prepaid address I sent it in and they sent it back all shiny and fixed. |

Im gonna contact the place because its been a few days and nothings changed. Im so pissed its like brand new!!
