I think parts 2, 4 and 6 had some pretty good and likeable supporting characters that helped elevated those films above most of the others. You actually could feel scared for them when Jason was after them and sad when he killed them.

I think that's true in parts 2 and 6. In part 4 I only cared about the final girl. The rest were the very definition of annoying.
