Adam West Is Batman

These kids today with their Michael Keatons and their Christian Bales; Adam West will always be Batman to me.

I loved this show!

Cesar Romero - The Joker
Frank Gorshin - The Riddler
Burgess Meredith - The Penguin
Julie Newmar - Catwoman
and many others including Vincent Price as Egghead

Any other fans?

Not to mention Eartha Kitt as the second Catwoman. Victor Buono as King Tut.

Gorshin's Riddler was the definitive portrayal, I think.

I like the show better now than I did back then.

There was no shortage of great villains.

They always used to have those great cameo appearances when Batman and Robin were scaling a tall building (Edward G. Robinson, Lurch, Bruce Lee) and the Bat-tusihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC8DmmeWcZU

Great show now. I kinda liked it as a kid, but as NeverEnding said, it's much better now. Very dry humor that is much more enjoyable to me now.

I think my favorite episode was when they fed Batman and Robin, or maybe just Robin, to a giant clam.
Oh, also the episode where they turned Batmans cowl pink, lol.

It wont. Been in legal limbo forever - one company owns the rights to the show, but another owns the Batman character. Bootlegs aren't too hard to come by, but I doubt we'll ever see a legit release.

Still, at least we've got the '66 movie on DVD, which is almost awesome enough to make up for not having the whole series.

I grew up watching re-run episodes of the series damn near every night. Absolutely loved it back then, and still do now. Would love to have it on DVD, but alas...we can only dream.

i caught this show on reruns during the 90s and enjoyed the campiness, penguin was my favorite villain. the first batman i enjoyed was from the tim turbon movies, but to me the main batman i loved growing up was the one from batman: the animated series, tv show from early-mid 90s.
