A little bit, I love his work with the elephants though and it's cool to find out his family owned them when he was a boy.

Breathing Room (2008)

Yeah... it was another poor effort to make something like Saw or Cube.

yesterday :

- our sons birthday party was 13 noisy kids at the theatre - went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua (my son was dying to see it) I was prepared to gouge out my own eyes - and ended up actually being amused throughout the film .. the kids were glued to the screen (but they were a bunch of little bastards back in the party room)

- Blazing Saddles ... still a good film - but it seems pretty dated in parts now
(Monty Python and the Holy Grail is by far funnier and still current)

- Batman Begins - watched it in hi-def. I like this film more every time i see it.
bad casting for the scarecrow though - way too young.

Yeah, But Cillian Murphy plays a good nutcase, so its forgiveable

Watched Cloverfield. Pretty cool. shorter than I was expecting, and It bugs me that the movie ended with pretty much nothing answered, but i understand both by the type of movie it was, and really for writers, leaving stuff out and getting people guessing is half the fun. Some great "Holy Shit" moments. Especially Hud's moment in central park. Look to the left, look to the right, look up...

no - seriously - the 'bigness' had to be seen on the big screen - it put you right in the movie with the actors ..

i'd never experienced anything before or since like that ... i normally sit outwardly unaffected by all movies - but that one had me going 'holy shit !!' outloud several times
