Lots of very interesting stuff on demand lately.

David Cronenberg's Spider
Right at Your Door
Subject 2
Vincent Price in Diary of a Madman

I can recommend all these.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else watched the little 2min Halloween how-tos? A lot of them are lame, but the shrunken head apples were pretty cool.

I have to agree. One of my fave Cronenberg films now. I was really impressed. Ralph Fiennes helped a lot. Amazing performance. But it was the details that really made the film. Cronenberg at his best.

I agree with you and Mothman... Spider is absolute brilliance and a surprisingly underrated Cronenberg film. I was actually lucky enough to catch that one in the theaters.

...

The other three I'll have to check out... Are these in the Fearnet section, NE? Or the Sundance section? Or somewhere else? (I was in the Fearnet section last night and either missed them or didn't see them).

Diary of a Madman is in Fearnet. The others are in Sundance.

Anyone seen Clive Barker's "Midnight Meat Train" on "On Demand" yet? I thought it was pretty good. But then, I love Clive Barker.

Yep- reviewed it this thread I believe, and last seen movie thread.

I thought it was predictable with the main characters being barely drawn at all. Obviously made for those whose only criterion for a horror movie is gory death scenes.
