Hmm. I was looking forward to seeing that. Only a 5, huh? I like most of what you like, so maybe I'll not be in a hurry to check this one out. Thanks!

Checked this out. Wasn't bad and you're right the special effects were pretty lame. Location and atmosphere was great though.

Found it on Youtube. Quality seems ok and it's with hardcoded English subtitles.

Can't answer your question 'cause I haven't seen it yet.

The Collector (2009)
I.M.D.B.
Desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife, an ex-con plots a heist at his new employer's country home, unaware that a second criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps.

I really enjoyed this one. Good suspense to the tense moments throughout, with a cat-and-mouse feel between antagonist and protagonist, the former being an intriguing and formidable presence, and the latter making smart choices. Very well made, visceral, smart - highly recommended.
9/10

The Collection (2012)
I.M.D.B.
A man who escapes from the vicious grips of the serial killer known as "The Collector" is blackmailed to rescue an innocent girl from the killer's booby-trapped warehouse.

Bloodier, higher body count, more action - it hits the traditional marks of a sequel. It gives more information into the killer and his collection - all of which are suitably interesting. I missed the suspense of the first movie, and the run-time was a little short. It could have done with another 10 or 20 mins spent weaving suspense into the story. A good addition to the first movie though, and a great ending. Recommended.
8/10

Me too, on both points!

Such a provocative film, and the performances are excellent. I love everything about Stigmata, including the gorgeous look of the film.

"The Uninvited" with Emily Browning is the remake of this movie. Of course, the original film is much better. Although, I have to admit, that this movie is more drama than horror.

WILD THINGS (1998). Very convoluted but intriguing with solid turns by Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon and Bill Murray. OF COURSE, You have to mention the extremely spicy scenes with Denise Richards (Gorgeous here) and Neve Campbell. ****
