Great stuff for sure. I like that one a lot more than the second one where they go to Donnington. A lot of it rings true to me haha especially playing the empty pub :p

This was my first viewing of Argentos prototype. A pretty good solid flick, the score gave the atmosphee some genuine strangeness.

Trainspotting (1996). One of the best gritty and funny flicks to come from the kingdom. Danny Boyle scored big time with this one.

Cache (2005). This turned out to be a rather cerebral film that poses as an everday psycho-thriller. Nothing really makes sense as to why things are going on, making for a chilling atmosphere. The acting was awesome on all accounts. There were no supermodels or uber-heros here, just kinda chubby, middle-aged and mundane sorts, making for a down to earth intensity. How they acted and reated was disturbingly human. The camera work was at times disturbing, but for reasons unknown. A great flick that is probably not for everyone as there is not a lot of action driving this movie; but for movie-philes that can be moved without an action hero this dark flick should be perfect. Watched that again myself sometime last week because I've been reading a lot of Irvine Welsh lately. I got pretty anti towards it for awhile because I saw it way to many times during the late 90s but I really enjoyed it this time round. I don't find it as gritty as other flicks involving heroin and its quite lightweight compared to the book.

Last thing I watched was Bruno. There was some OTT shit that was fucking funny and the mother's peddling their kids off to be child actors was disturbing.
Doubt I'd watch it again but it was an enjoyable enough distraction.
