Agreed. I love this one.
And like Chief Brody said, it might actually be easier to find under the title City of the Dead.

Thumbs up Back to Back Hammer's Frankenstein Movie Marathon

The Curse of Frankenstein (1957)
The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958)
The Evil of Frankenstein (1964)

Frankenstein Created Woman (1966)
Frankenstein Must be Destroyed (1969)
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974)

It's been an awesome holiday to watch all of them one after another.

All great films apart from the last one. I just hated everything about that film when i saw it. Such a sad end to a great series.:(

Yeah...it was like an amazing journey following Baron into his sinister adventures all the way. Enjoyed them a lot more than my first viewing almost a year ago.

Yeah, may be it was not the right entry to end the series (I think Hammer wasn't sure either) but I loved it...liked the setting and even the monster also. Very decent overall, IMO.

Dracula from 1931.

Not as good as Frankenstein, imo. Particularly since the film's lack of scoring is particularly notable (in the early days of sound in film, films were left with little to no music as it felt it would confuse the audience) but I thought that the sequence where Dracula and his brides rise from their coffins the first time, in near silence, was actually pretty eerie.

Changed the title to Horror Hotel for the US release, and also cut 2 minutes out of the film as well.

Good grief they cut it???If ever there was a film that needs to be seen in its entirety it's that.
