It's actually a bust of the 1941 Wolfman starring Lon Chaney Jr.
It was made shortly after the movie came out, by Norman LeClaire who was a respected sculptor and mask maker from France. There are only 5 in existence and the last know bust sold for $15,000 at Sotheby's Auction House in 1998 Nah.......I have no idea about it....it is pretty cool Last edited by newb; 10-06-2014 at 02:47 PM.

It doesn't look wooden to me- since the base appears to be white. It looks to be a cheap plaster casting painted to look like wood. My guess would be from the 60s monster explosion, though I have no actual facts to back that up.
