You know something else that is scary looking? Cave fish. They have no eyeballs and you can see through their bodies.

I ordered a copy of Sweeney Todd on bluray and when I got it in the mail the red coloring on the boxart was completely faded just like the DVD copy I bought a while ago. I mean what the hell?! Is there something wrong with the factory that makes these movies or what?

I guess I'll just have to live with it and appreciate the movie itself more than the boxart.

Are you sure that's not what it's supposed to look like?

Absolutely positive. It's supposed to be blood red on the cover, not faded pink

As odd as it seems perhaps you were unfortunate enough to get copies from printers running out of ink?

Yeah I think that has to be it. I just thought that if I ordered a bluray copy then it wouldn't happen but I guess it did. Something must be up with the factory that is selling this movie it must be the ink itself. :(

Oh well, it's the movie itself that I love and I wanted to get it for bluray to see if the quality really is better on my HD TV. I think I can overlook the problem with the boxart if I don't obsess over it and focus on enjoying the movie.

And I love Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow. Tim Burton does great movies when he actually cares about them. :) I might try to get some other bluray movies too like Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, and Zombie.
