Anyone checked these out I just won the first series of the screengrabs in an online auction for dirt cheap and was wondering if there decent? Should be arriving next week sometime.

I saw them at my local comics store...they look pretty cool...nice 3d scenes. They run about $15 each here.

I got the lot for $30 (NZ).... think they'd usually cost that each over here.
I see they've brought out a Chop-top figure! Definatley gonna grab that one been waiting for someone to bring one out for ages.

I actually have the entire first series of the Cinema of Fear figures. I'm especially fond of the Jason from The Final Chapter and the Chop Top figures. I don't have any of the screen grabs. I was disappointed in the paint jobs on them. But it looks like they've corrected that on series 2 due out soon.

Series 2 of the figures is pretty awesome too. Freddy from Nightmare 1, Leatherface from TCM 2, and Jason from Jason Lives.

I've seen these at Newbury Comics. To me they seem sort of cartoony for my taste. I prefer the McFarlaine Movie Monsters series. They're much more realistic and when photographed just right they look like they're live action.

(One of my favorite hobbies is pitting monsters against one another and photographing them. I have a few great shots of Ash from Army of Darkness fighting Jason and Michael Myers.)
