I have to agree with a lot of the choices so far!
Other than the ones said (Bill Moseley especially) I would go with Doug Bradley as Pinhead and Tim Curry as Pennywise. They both made their respective films what they are! I also like Jim Siedow as Cook in (at least) the first two TCM movies. Though in the first I think he's much better - he's the funniest character in what is a horrifically dark film. When he sees what Leatherface has done to the door!! :D

I agree with every name I've read. I would add to the list, however, Bruce Campbell for his role as Ash in the Evil Dead trilogy, and Elvis in Bubba Ho-Tep. And Anthony Perkins for his role as Norman Bates in Psycho.
