Good Horror Blogs?

I just started some class in Server Side/Client Side Programing and for some reason I can't fathom they want us to write a blog and too also post on some other peoples blogs. I really don't get it.

So does any one know of some decent/famous and regulary updated Horror Blogs? Or does anyone do one here?

I'm going to do a Horror Blog too as its pr0lly the easiest for me to write. I don't want to spend hours on writing copy for an unrelated subject to this course..

thanks.

Cinema Knifefight is updated very regularly and deals with both mainstream and genre fare, though has many contributors (myself included) that do a lot of cult and horror stuff.

That's a tough one. You've gotta figure out what you want from the blog. Do you want authority in your genre? Do you want to discuss what horror means to you? Do you want to discuss your experiences writing horror or making horror films, or what? Decide how versatile and how personal you want your blog to be. Building a blog is like writing a novel or a script. You have to decide what can and can't happen in this world you're making. So figure out what you intend to talk about, pick specific topics and then post on those topics at a fairly regular rate. This seems pretty obvious, but it actually isn't. It's easy to create a blog that doesn't have rules or a perspective or intent.

Thanks for these! Arbogast and Chilling Scenes snagged me immediately.

Ferox - I'll definitely check yours out, though I swear I thought you already did a Lovecraft Blog?

I'm doing a Lovecraft Blog as part of my website - really I'm just using it so it has constantly changing content.

This is one I need to do for a Night class I just started - I'm not sure why as its really unrelated to the course content (basically Client Side/Server Side Web Technologies). They are also making us use Blogger.com (I think its the simplest blog platform - its definitely isn't as indept as Wordpress).

They also expect other people to post on the blog and for you to post on other people's blog..Its weird.
