Purple Rain-1984. Still one of my favorites. IDC that people call it cheesy, it's from the 80s! Cheese is good.

The Company of Wolves-1984. 7/10

MST3K LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK 2 1984

To be fair, everything goes better with Mystery Science Theater. A professor and 3 students camp out in the swamps of Arkansas in search of the boggy Creek monster. It was hilarious.

STAR TREK2:THE WRATH OF KHAN (1982). Well, it looks like the HORROR.COM posters were correct in giving higher marks. The wife and I both liked this and found Ricardo wonderfully evil. ***1/2

We have the original series and like quite a few, although I'm drawing a blank on a lot of the names, but "The Ultimate Computer" episode (not sure if the title is correct) with William Marshall as the scientist was very good.

Told my wife I would love to see an episode where things are calm and Bones decides to throw Spock a birthday party with cake, balloons and punch that Bones gets a little tipsy on making sure it's OK. Spock would typically say how it was not "Logical" and Bones would be pissed and yell "Could You once show a Little GRATITUDE?"

"Legend" 8/10

I wonder if anyone involved was actually proud of being part of this movie. I doubt Tom Cruise was. Damn did he look stupid. His acting wasn't much better.

Still one of the best fantasy flicks of the 80s together with Labyrinth and Neverending Story.

Agreed and I loved the soundtrack.

MST3K HOBGOBLIN 1988

Can't stop watch Mystery Science Theater now. This movie literally puked on the screen but the narrative was worth it.

I've read there's 3 different versions of the movie. Do you know if the difference between them is just the soundtrack?

Bryan Ferry??

The one on Netflix (only version I've seen) only contains Classical music.
