Thirst by Park Chan-wook is a good one. Check it out if you haven't already.
I second the recs of the Whispering Corridors series. All three - Whispering Corridors, Memento Mori and Wishing Stairs are pretty solid. Besides those listed by Z... Taiwan - Silk, Double Vision, The Heirloom.
Philippines - Blood Island series (like Z pointed out...our very own Crabapple is a big fan of these flicks), Yam Laranas' Sigaw (aka) The Echo. Also dig up some other works of Eddie Romero if you can. Indonesia - Mystics in Bali is one which will hit you like a real sucker punch. Lady Terminator is another. Thailand - Faet (aka) Alone, Sick Nurses, Art of the Devil I & II, Nang Nak, Sars Wars, Re-Cycle, The Eye flicks, Buppah Rahtree, Dorm, Ghost of Mae Nak. Not sure about any stuff from Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam. Thailand and Philippines are where all horror is at in South-east Asia. I take it nobody has seen much of Indian horror. Trust me, there's a lot more to it than Bhoot. Early 80s stuff is very cheesy, but its pretty dark, gothic and atmospheric. Borrows a lot from Hammer. http://www.amazon.com/Bollywood-Horr...8737840&sr=8-2 http://www.amazon.com/Bollywood-Horr...8737840&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/Bollywood-Horr...8737840&sr=8-3 See if you can get those.

Vietnam - Muoi: The Legend of a Portrait; released in 2007...collaboration with South Korea. It became the first horror and also first rated film in Vietnam.
About Indian Horror films: I have seen some Ramsay Brothers' Horror films but that was quite a long time ago. Purana Mandir, Bis saal baad, Daak Bangla & Purana Haveli used to be the favorites of mine:). Anyway, lately again bought a 6 in 1 dvd of Indian Horror films of 80's. Darna Mana Hai (2003) - Among the recent horror films, I liked Darna mana hai quite a lot besides Bhoot. It's a fascinating horror anthology with 6 different horror/supernatural tales. Really impressive; but later they made a sequel (Darna Jaruri hai) which is bit disappointing. Hawa (2003) - Really enjoyed it first time. Then I had no idea that it's actually inspired by The Entity (1981). This year's 13B also a good one.
