I have the unique ability to absorb myself completely in something no matter where I am. I could watch it on a gameboy and have the same experience if i am in to it.

After one viewing, i was already having "Cloverfield" dreams at night (who knew i had apoll in my backyard? I did in the dream....)

I understand what you are getting at, and I love seeing movies in the theater because Ilove the overall experience, but I never have a hard time being completely absorbe din anythign that is even remotely interesting :D

i dont mean just getting aborbed in .. but it was a giant monster movie - where you look up ... you know ?

you were actually viewing the creature from the same perspective as the characters .. it really adds a crucial dimention to the movie ...

specifically the scene where they come out of the underground and get caught between the creature in the army - man i was there - right in the middle of it ...

it felt physical ...

as you can tell, this movie impressed the hell out of me.

I've since seen it on the home theatre and although that's the next best way to see it - it still lost a lot of the impact i experinced in the theatre.

I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006)

A BIG break from Chan-wook Park's other films, but I found this one strangely touching. It's a very bizarre film, but the story and the actors (all great) draw you in rather quickly.

Iron Man - 7/10
Cool Marvel flix. Good acting, good direction, and killer CGI. I look forward to seeing the sequel.
