I will agree with you about the original Nightmare, but you are WAY off on Nightmare 2. That "movie" was as boring as they come. The studio kept telling the director to go back and make it scarier. Usually the studio can be wrong, not in this case.

I thought New Nightmare was actually really good.
I don't remember seeing 2. I've seen all the movies I'm pretty sure, but I just can't remember which is which. I hope I get that fuckin boxset of christmas. :(

the boxed set owns! anyone made it through that whole extra dvd with the labyrinth? its SOOOOOOO long. Killer having them all on dvd, i watch them all the time.
I love New Nightmare tho, and i will have those boots freddy wears in that one too.

Don't worry man I like #2 as well.
Great movie. Freddy was darker, scarier, meaner, and more brutal. He showed no fukcing mercy and his kills were awsome, especially Grady's. The movie is a little slow since the 1st kill does not happen for awhile, but the pool scene and The Grady kill is worth the movie alone.
