Letterboxd vs IMDB

I am currently an IMDB user, however I'm kind of considering moving to Letterboxd. I know that its going to be a huge hastle to redo all of my ratings, reviews, list etc, and I don't have money to buy a paid account (which I believe lets you export and transport lists). Anyone have a favourite, or any pros and cons that would help me (and anyone else) decide between the two? Would be much appreciated, thanks

Trying Letterboxd now. At first glance, it seems easier to connect with other members here. Looking forward to comparing the two over the following weeks.

Regarding the possibilities connecting with other members I can see the advantages in Letterboxd as IMDB has none and I miss that quite alot. There's a lot of insight to be found there amongst a lot of bullshit.

Hmm... I might have to check it out as well.

IMDB has authorized your termination if you do. And I want to do it too.
