And thanks to whoever recommended Altered and Triangle.
The latter being a good head-scratcher and the the former being just plain great B movie fun. Well made!

Any other bargain bin used horror dvds ($5 or less) this good?

The Last Slumber Party (1988)

Man oh man. I bought this on a whim; the DVD was like $4 at Disc Replay.
And what a treat. I haven't watched the other film on this disc, Terror at Tenkiller, but The Last Slumber Party is a sleaze-lover's dream. This is Z-grade slasher stuff at its best. Hilariously inept, but seriously endearing. It's full of hysterical dialogue ("Queerbait!" "You're on the rag!"), bizarro murder scenes, and ridiculous heavy metal music.
Completely fun and entertaining throughout, fans of looooow-budget video trash do yourself a favor and just buy this one. You'll want to watch it more than once.

I was just reading a review for that. Looks really good. Haven't watched anything trashy for a bit so will have to check it out.

Frankenhooker-I was literally crying with laughter at this. It was directed by Frank Henenlotter (Basket Case, Bad Biology, Brain Damage) and was a complete blast Bit slow to start to well worth the entrance fee. Though not as sleazy as Basket Case it nicely delivers a refreshing take on "Whore Horror".

Henenlotter rules. I'm a big fan. Frankenhooker is a great flick for sure.
