I'm pretty sure demons can possess whatever or whomever they wish, generally. Unless that person or object has some sort of magical protection from demons. But yeah, they have even been known to possess inanimate objects if I am not mistaken. One could argue that perhaps Christine (Steven King's killer fem fatale cadillac), perhaps the car was possessed by a demon. And as someone else pointed out, Ash 's dead girlfriend was possessed.

How's a demon just gonna up and posses somethin' under it own free will?.... Without a invitational ceremony or ritual of some kind bein' done first?
Yet another advantage for the undead! Zoms all day! All together now...With feeling this time..KLAATU BARADA NIKTO KLAATU BARADA NIKTO KLAATU BARADA NIKTO KLAATU BARADA NIKTO |

Invocation seems like all it takes.....invitation maybe not so much..
Zombies have one simple directive and motivation.......Demons are hell bent..so to say..on destruction for various vices, sins, and other malicious endeavors. They also require certain metaphysical elements to achieve manifestation. On the other hand....conditions for a zombie outbreak are practically ideal.....whether transmission is spread one bite at a time, or thru mass outbreak. This are just a few of the ingredients insuring victory for the undead! Last edited by Dead Bad Things; 09-18-2016 at 10:39 AM. |

I agree with DBT. You can at least reason and have a dialogue with a demon.

But...they are at war with Zombies. What Z is going to sit down and reason with a demon? Are we to assume the Zombies have a Non-Z ambassador, negotiating ceasefires with demons?
