In the grand tradition of the theatre there are hundreds, thousands of plays that could be considered to have horrific elements. Those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh cool....I've read and seen the stage versions of Equus and The Children's Hour. I never knew they were horror. Just thought it had lots of suspense, but not horror. Wow. I'll check out the others.
