Meatball Machine

Meatball Machine is the film that got me interested in Japanese 'Manga' style gore/horror films. It's a great movie to watch when you're planning on having a bunch of guests, and need some awesome cheesy gore going on in the background. I love this movie, my wife hates it and thinks it's 'dumb'.

It was definitely a fun little over the top trip, much like Machine Girl (although i do admit MG was much better)

See, I felt it was the other way around, amazed at Meatball, disapointed with MG. When I look back on it, I didn't have any expectations with Meatball Machine, as I did with MG. I like to throw Meatball in the DVD player while entertaining guest or hosting a card game. It makes for something cool to look at occasionaly, and it isn't porn.

It's amazing how much we let anticipation effect our feelings on the quality of a film. Machine Girl was one that I had high expectations for and was a little disappointed with but I've been waiting for Meatball Machine for quite some time as well so we'll see what happens...
