Howdy,
I am new to this board so an introduction first:
My name is Dustin Bennett,I am an independent film director from Reading Pennsylvania,USA.
I have directed many Horror shorts and have made the switch to feature length films with my Production company partner and fellow director Troy Collins.
Our first feature length film is called "Flesh Crawl" and has recieved a very enthusiastic response...release for the film is still a ways off as its stil being edited.
It is a retro 70s Horror film with Romero style Zombies while offering a new spin on the genre.
I have also been involved with the production of a slasher film entitled "Not Alone" in a director capacity.
Troy and I have now formed a production company called:
50BCPRODUCTIONS,LLC.

Why should you check it out?
Because if you are an actor/model/actress/director or are involved in the Horror film making business we would like you to submit headshots or current projets to the "submissions" address located on the 50BC site.
Send your submissions along with a brief bio, along with a note singed by you stating that you allow 50bc to help promote your submission in a non monetary exchange.
You have to have submissions sent by March 29 2006.
If you have sent an acceptable submission,we will help promote your project for free!
Why would we do this?
Because every project will get promoted like crazy through all the different areas we can diversley promote to.
Its free promotion/publicity for all involved.

Run FLESH CRAWL in search and you will find many various interviews we have done for Horrormovies.ca,Moviesonline,Fangoria.Com and many many more.
I assure you all folks,we are the real deal.
I saw "Slashermans" SPAM response in another post I had made.
I have emailed him to try to fix the problem,but have not heard back from him yet.
Its my first day on this board,I hope its all a misunderstanding.
Honestly folks,check us out.

Perhaps if you'd spent a little time actually posting here, contributing to the site and "community" we'd have done you the favour of having a look-see...but at this point, it would appear that you are just here to exploit us, so you can get hits on your website, and for the record, your "new concept" sounds dodgy.
Sounds like you're advising on the copyright as a loophole to say "I told you so" and completely plagiarise the fuck outta anyone who submitted any work without a copyright.

ok, look at it like this:
You wouldn't go up to some person (or group of people) on the street and start talking about your movie project. They'd look at you like you were some asshole, and rightfully so. But, it's more than reasonable to tell some of your friends/acquaintances about your movie project.
Same thing with this. Don't come up to us and tell us about your movie project, cause chances are we won't give a shit

OK....this is a first.
I have been on tons of Independnt boards in the past,but this is the fist one that doesnt actually like to talk about upcoming independent film projects in the works brought up by the people making the films.
My new concept sounds "Dodgy"?....hardly.
If your copyrighted you have no worries.The concept is similiar to the website "youdontknowmeyet.com" only free and a courtesy to other independent artists.
Who would be stupid enough to submit work without a copyright attached?

Look in my first post,I responded to "any indie films that take place in the woods 'and after responding I was slammed by "Slasherman" with the word SPAM.
I mistook his comment as though he was having trouble getting into the site and wrongly accusing it as a spam or virus site.
Instead of being assholes about it,maybe you guys could nicely say "we dont accept links like that" or state it as policy somewhere on the boards?
All boards are different...sounds like you guys have a real tight-nit community here.
After the way you have treated me on the first day here,I dont want to be part of it.

As a Horror fan,I usually get interested and excited in new independent films,rather than hear about another Horror movie remake,thought you guys would too.
I like to hear about new Zombie films or a slasher film with a new spin on the genre,coming from outside Hollywood.
Seems you guys would rather condemn it.
And if you dont want to hear about new independent Horror films,why are you on this forum?
I guess to yell "SPAM" whenever someone does bring up their own film.
