I've only seen four of those movies and I've never even heard of all the other entries? Would like to give them a go, most of them seem intresting. Especially Pet.

I don't agree with number one, on the list. It was far from the best horror movie from last year.

No room for Quija 2 or Conjuring 2? Fuck that artsy fartsy list.

A couple of the asian flicks sounded interesting tho.

There is no reason Baskin should be that high. It's good, but not that good.

Great list!

Drop The Witch and make Train To Bucan No. 1. : )

My list puts Cat Sick Blues in the number one slot. I need to see Creepy though and a few others. Bookmarked! Nice to see Pig Pen in there such an emotional film that rips at your humanity.

Thanks for the recs.

Interesting list. Poetically written article.

I'd like to see 'I'm not a s-killer', 'Train to Bascan' looks badass, I'll see 'Autopsey' sometime, 'Embers' sounds great though somber. 'Witch' was way to bleak to be entertaining.

If you mean The Witch, i have to disagree. Definitely the best of the year in my opinion. Nothing else this year was anything like it. An excellent movie

Baskin shouldn't even be on the list, so disappointing

Not every movie needs to be entertaining to be good especially a horror movie. The Witch had a great story, amazing cinematography, and like i mentioned before there was nothing else like it.

I've seen some of them on this list. I'll check out others pretty soon here. Always like watching different kinds of horror. :)

Cool Interesting List

Nice list of horror films; I haven't watched any of the films. I will surely watch a few of them next time when I wish to play a horror film, especially "The Neon Demon".
