PETITION to LIONSGATE for EXTENDED Cut of 1999 BLAIR WITCH using deleted footage
Director EDUARDO SANCHEZ is backing an OFFICIAL PETITION to LIONSGATE for an extended version of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (1999) using 19+ hour of unseen footage.
The new cut will probably be 2-3 hrs or so! WE NEED LOTS OF SIGNATURES. PLEASE SIGN!!!!!! WE WANT TO SEE THIS HAPPEN AND ED NEEDS THE FULL SUPPORT OF THE FAN COMMUNITY!

I love the Blair Witch Project very much, but I can't recall a single time I thought that I needed to see an extended edition. I'm completely happy with the film as it is. Sorry, not going to sign but I wish you luck!

I concur with everyone else. I loved the movie, but honestly you can only make wandering around the woods interesting for so long before it starts to sink in that they are just wandering around some woods. It would have to be 2-3 hours of VERY interesting stuff and lore. I could stand for some more intro interviews, just background stuff and deeper looks into the lore. But for gods sake, no more woods.
