Anthology

I like the genre. A movie which consists of several different stories. The last horror anthology I've seen was The Theatre Bizarre (2011). I have also seen the V/H/S series and both ABCs of Death. Is there any anthology you would recommend? Preferably something new or something from the 2000's.

First two are anthologies. Others are the multiple/interweaving storylines kind.

-Tales of Halloween (2015) haven't seen it so no idea how good/bad it is
-A Christmas Horror Story (2015) same as the above
-Wild Tales aka Relatos Salvajes
-Short Cuts (1993)
-Pulp Fiction (1994)
-Crash (2004)
-Traffic (2000)
-Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrells (1998)
-Snatch (2000)

I second Creepshow and the subsequent Creepshow 2. I would love to see that series revived. It definitely deserves a 3rd real movie. There was a 3rd, but it was terrible.

Also Tales from the Darkside, the movie, was pretty legit.

A few not yet mentioned:
  • Three...Extremes (must see)
  • Cutting Moments (only one entry is good, but man is it good)
  • All Hallows Eve (pretty good for being so low budget)
  • Taxidermia (very weird and kinda gross)
  • Subconscious Cruelty (pretty extreme, a little out there)

(Edit) whoops I see Three Extremes was already mentioned. I'm leaving it because it deserves a double callout!

Btw, Mayvock, if I may make a suggestion:
how about choosing another image for your avatar.
Bit confusing with Jake having the same.

I bloody love anthology films! Recently watched VHS 2 and it was just as enjoyable as part 1.

Next films I'm eying is VHS: Viral and ABCs of Death 2.
