Jigsaw

I saw Jigsaw on Thursday night and I enjoyed it a lot. It's not the best Saw movie, but I thought it was one of the better entries. What did you think of it if you've seen it?

Is Jigsaw part of the Saw series? Is it a prequel or a sequel? I don't wanna read Wikipedia for spoilers. Wanna watch this if it's part of why Jigsaw started becoming Jigsaw.

What a sad SAW Movie. I didn't like it at all. The characters reacted so stupid, and noooo. I've waited since the announcement of Jigsaw for the new movie, and I was just disappointed. Especially, we saw in Saw 7 that the doctor from part 1 appeared again and I thought, yes! What a cool twist! But now they made nothing out of it.

Real bad, we actually talk about it in one segment for this Tuesday's episode.

I'm not a fan of the Saw series in general, though I dig the first 2 well enough, and thought 3-5 were entertaining for their whacky, nonsense plots and swerves. But otherwise, not a big fan, so that may be why I didn't like this one too much.

I'm not a fan of the "gore" horror that much as a whole though to be honest. Way more into subtle, paranormal horror.

I just watched it and enjoyed it for the most part. I will say though..

***Spoilers ahead*** (Highlight to see)

I thought the girl who had all the traps, who I still think may be a [artof it somehow, just seemed out of place. After the reveal at the end it kind of confirmed it with her having the spiraling blade trap that the cop had no knowledge of, or so he said.

***end spoilers***

They are already planning another movie apparently so we will just have to wait and see. For what it was I thought it was one of the better sequels.

It was okay i guess. My only issue with it is it doesnt connect to the rest of the series they way the others do. All the others, even the really bad ones, all connect in one long linear story. This one, although existing in the same timeline, seems like it could lift right out and not effect anything. In the end its basically pointless
