I know,a nd I'm not trying to be a dick. But don't you think, in a way, Friday the 13th was one of the films to kind of start the whole "girl running away" thing? Back then it was fresh and original. Just a thought.

I thought the first four were pretty good...but after that....they were gettin kinda stupid....like in pt.5, it had a different twist to the friday franchise, but it sucked...and pt.7, having someone's mind wake Jason up...then pt.8 ruined it for me, I mean, come on, Jason in New York city...what the hell happened to these movies...if ya can't think of something to do with Camp Crystal Lake, quit making the damn movies.....

they dropped down one by one."

Here's how it goes for me:

1 was good. 2 was better. 3 was the best. 4 wasn't as good as any of them, but still good. 5 started getting dumb. Then they all went dowhill from there.

I love, love, LOVE the part in Manhattan though where Jason punches some kid's head off. His fist manages to make a clean saw-like cut through his neck, and amazingly there's no blood! I laughed for an hour.
