Guess it's silly to expect that perhaps one person would (try) defend himself in a life threatening situation. Last edited by Baron Von Marlon; 03-24-2017 at 08:06 PM. |

Thats fine. I simply disagree with you and probably did so in an antagonizing sarcastic way, which i tend to do. I simply prefer a movie that will explore the emotions behind a subject. But if you thought it wouldve been better with at least one person fighting back well thats your opinion and thats just fine

The Evil Within, 2017. 8/10
Pretty crazy movie but extremely well done, well of course the director was a meth addict and a millionaire. It was sad that he died before he could see his film released props to those that brought his film out. I will buy it if ever put to DVD. The back story is pretty intriguing to me and I'd love to own it. I personally can re watch this again.

Life
This was really good. Very reminiscent of Alien just without the claustrophobic fear but the element of protecting Earth from the creature was a nice touch. The action was good, it was pretty creepy, the creature felt like a genuine threat and i loved the ending. 8/10 Split I had given up on M. Night after the abysmal The Visit but this is a true return to form for him. This feels like one of his older movies. The story is great and keeps you guessing the whole time and waiting for whats going to happen next and James McAvoy does an amazing job portraying the different personalities. The very last part of this movie should shock you as M. Nights oft ridiculed trademark is used excellently here. As for how DID is portrayed in the movie... SPOILERS NOT JUST FOR THE DID PORTRAYAL BUT THE ENDING OF THE MOVIE AS WELL Some people might take offense to the portrayal of a person with Dissociate Identity Disorder (DID) as a violent psychopath but the only personality that is actually violent is The Beast who we find out in the end of the movie is actually a supervillain in the realm of Unbreakable which makes it more of a supernatural thing then a realistic approach to the condition. END OF SPOILERS 8/10
