"A Fistful of Dollars" - S.E
"For A Few Dollars More"...S.E VERY nice looking? YES. Lots of nice extras? YES. Complete? NO IT'S NOT!!! Anyone who knows this film will know that the old MGM DVD (and the TV prints that followed) was missing an entire sequence at the end of the beating. Indio's face starts to drop and he then calls off the beating, has Van Cleef and Eastwood taken away and calls his men over to discuss the plans. This was ALWAYS in the film in ALL the old TV screenings and in ALL the old VHS releases. yet the previous MGM DVD simply jumped from Indio's face starting to drop to him in the middle of the conversation with his men. Even if you don't know the film there is a VERY obvious jump and it all makes no sense as one second they are in the middle of beating the Eastwood and Van Cleef up the next they are on their own in the middle of a conversation in a differnet location. And the new DVD...is exactly the same! The same missing footage, the same bad jump! And this even has the balls to have a featurrete on the film's restoration! I don't call a scene, that was always in the film until recently, missing from the film a 'restoration' of anything! very nice print otherwise...but this is still really annoying.
