Have you seen Jason Goes to Hell? Just look at the props at the end of the flick. Raimi apparently let them borrow them both. They talk about it in the commentary as well.

I know Ash is no Jason...BUT I THINK he couuld kick anyones ass when put in the position...besides invincible evil Villians..personal who would even dare go up against him..HE's got a fuckin chainsaw for an arm..AWW HELLO.. can we say chopped liver:D
