Abarat

Is anyone reading The Abarat books by Clive Barker?

I've read the 1st and just got the 2nd book, Days of Magic, Nights of War.

I'm a big fan of Clive Barker but not so much when he moves away from horror and into fantasy.
Are these Abarat books any good?
If so I will make the effort to purchase them.

I'm more of a fan of his Horror stuff too. The Abarat is Fantasy but I think it's incredibly imaginative.

I heard from somewhere that Clive is going to write a Novel where Pinhead finally dies. I can't wait for that one.
